Living Costs in Brisbane
Brisbane is considered one of Australia’s more affordable major cities for students. Estimated annual living expenses include accommodation, food, transport, health insurance, and personal expenses. Total Estimated Living Cost is AUD 18,000 – 30,000 (₹9.8L – ₹16.3L).
The Australian Government requires student visa applicants to show a minimum of AUD 29,710 (₹16.1L approx.) per year as proof of living funds when applying for the Student Visa (Subclass 500). This is separate from tuition fees.
