The three campuses of the University of Greenwich are located in Greenwich, Avery Hill, and Medway. The campus at Greenwich is on a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Thames River and is about 25 minutes from London’s central district. Avery Hill is a green 86-acre campus in southeast London, while the Kent Medway campus is approximately 45 minutes from London.

The University also offers ensuite and non-ensuite types of accommodation along with gyms, cafes, shops and laundries. Forms of student habitation at the University of Greenwich include some of the most affordable in London (from £130 weekly for on-campus accommodation up to £390 for external, private hall accommodation). First-year applicants who submit their application on time are guaranteed a space in a UK accommodation.

With more than 30,000 members currently registered across its three campuses, the Greenwich Students’ Union offers students the opportunity to join an array of clubs & societies comprising over 120 different types. In addition, the university has three libraries; a TV/film studio; two NHS equivalent clinical/labs; three sports facilities and, in 2022, completed its new £25 million Dreadnought building containing an auditorium/café/gym.
