Living Costs in Nottingham
Nottingham is considered one of the UK’s more affordable major student cities, offering a lower cost of living compared to destinations like London and several other large UK hubs. International students can expect estimated annual living expenses of around £9,600 – £14,400 (approximately ₹10.3L – ₹15.4L), depending on accommodation and lifestyle choices.
For the UK Student Visa, applicants studying outside London must show proof of maintenance funds worth £1,334 per month for 9 months, totalling £12,006 (approximately ₹12.8L). These funds must remain in your bank account for at least 28 consecutive days before submitting your visa application, ensuring you are financially prepared for your stay in the UK.
