Brunel University London is a public university that is located in Uxbridge, West London, approximately 35 minutes from London city by metro. The university itself even has a metro station inside its premises and was founded way back in 1966 in honour of one of the greatest engineers of all time, Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Several reasons make Brunel unique. The first reason is that it is ranked 1st in the United Kingdom by Times Higher Education’s International Outlook twice in recent years (2024 and 2025). The second distinguishing feature of Brunel is that almost all engineering, business, and computing programs offer a year-long paid internship at a real company as part of the curriculum. This feature is rarely found in other universities.
Brunel Business School is internationally accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS. Brunel Business School is included in the list of the top 1% business schools in the world.
It noted that Brunel University is a relatively modern establishment that is not a member of the Russell Group and focuses mainly on practical skills.
