The Dual Study Program

What sets the Frankfurt UAS apart is its Dual Study Program. This is where you study at the university and at the same time work at the company, which is a partner of the university. This is one of the best ways of entering the job market in Germany. You get both the degree and the experience at the same time. Some of the students are even paid while they are studying.

Admissions & Application

Applying to Frankfurt UAS as an international student is straightforward as long as you know the steps. All international applicants with a degree obtained outside Germany must apply through uni-assist e.V., Germany’s centralized application portal for international students.

You can apply for up to three programs, listed in order of priority. Once submitted, the priority order cannot be changed, so choose wisely! Applications are submitted entirely online; no physical documents need to be posted. However, all certificates not in German or English must be accompanied by a sworn translation.

Campus Life & Facilities

At the Frankfurt UAS, there is more to it than just lectures and textbooks. The campus is located in the heart of the popular districts of Frankfurt’s Nordend and Bornheim. The nearby Günthersburgpark is one of the favorite hangouts for our students. The area around the campus offers all the amenities that one might need.

On campus, students can make use of the well-equipped library, extensive Campus IT facilities, and the Language Center, which offers free language courses in languages such as Spanish, Arabic, and Chinese. CampusSport also caters to those who like to stay physically active with yoga, martial arts, dance, hiking, and excursions to Austria and the Netherlands in the semester break for only about €25 per semester. For those who love art, CampusKultur provides free access to various art events, museums, and, with the AStA Culture Ticket, 19 museums in the city and the Frankfurt Zoo for free.

Getting around is effortless, too. The Deutschlandsemesterticket, included in your semester fee, gives you free public transport across all of Germany. Bike enthusiasts also benefit from discounted rates via Call a Bike, with bike rides of less than 60 minutes being free. And with the campus being relatively small in size, it is possible to get to almost every location in under 20 minutes via bike. Food in the cafeteria starts from as low as 2-5 Euros.

Costs, Scholarships & Visa

One of the greatest benefits of studying at the Frankfurt UAS is that it is a public university and therefore free of any tuition fees, regardless of your nationality. The only semester contribution of around €360 (₹32.4K) is due twice a year. The good thing is that this semester’s contribution also includes your public transport ticket that covers the whole of Germany.
